AT THE CROSSROADS – AH! DESTINY COMPANY (CREATION 2024)

Alma and Adèle do not know each other.

Nearly a thousand kilometers separate them, yet a family secret unites them. One day, letters falling out of a box put them on the trail of memories. Without knowing what they will find, each retraces the course of their lineage. A dotted line then appears between Tangier and Marseille. Names emerge from the past: the ghost of an impossible love between their respective grandparents. As Alma and Adèle assemble the pieces of the puzzle, their certainties waver.

The destiny of three women is drawn on stage, three women from different eras: the prison of morality, of virtue, built by society and the traditions of yesterday is completely different from today. Morals have been liberated, but have we really evolved so much? Are Alma and Adèle, contemporary women, as free as they believe? It is the beginning of a quest for meaning, an intimate one, that the two women will share until this question arises: what if the shockwave of the secret revealed others?
