THE MILLS OF NISSAN

Originally the first mills were located to the east of the village but were burnt down in the 1350s. Subsequently, two others were built in the 1670s on the heights of the hills to the south of the village, ideally located at taken from all the winds; the previous ones were gradually abandoned and ruined. The 3rd mill was built later, in the XNUMXth century, so “before the Revolution” the three mills (Delon, Tiquet and Balayé) operated simultaneously and at high yield.
